We came across a small poorly hedgehog on the lane not far from this sanctuary so popped in to see if they could help. What an amazing place. Couldn’t believe the amount of animals this incredible couple have taken in. We were taken on a tour and the animals are clearly loved and cherished. We spent ages there, it was fascinating. They deserve a lot of support and recognition. They’ve dedicated themselves to a 7 day working week for the love of these animals. We were in awe! If you love animals, you should consider a visit, volunteer or donate. Totally smashing!

What an absolutely wonderful afternoon out with the family! Tina and James were so welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Such lovely people. Their commitment to the care and love for all the animals is second to none and both of them and their helpers, are making such a difference to all those in need. The children had a fantastic time helping to feed the animals and ate more cake than I could shake a stick at. They haven't stopped talking about their afternoon and both said they'd eat a bucket of cauliflower if they could go back 😂 . Their favourites were the horses and Dennis the lamb. And the deer were a big hit with all of us, especially Dad! We all highly recommend a visit to Brookhouse Animal Sanctuary. 10/10

What a beautiful location nestled in the rolling hills and valley's of Shropshire. Tina and James were welcoming, kind and friendly hosts. On arrival we were greeted with smiles and by some very excitable loving dogs who were amazing with our girls. Tina was great with the girls showing us a range of animals that are all very much loved. She was very knowledgeable and guided us around a lovely expanse of land for the animals to roam. We saw deer drinking from a stream, sheep wanting a fuss especially Lambo who's such a loveable character, cheeky goats, llamas, horses, a noisy donkey and more. We were offered tea, cake and lemonade after feeding 2 beautiful little lambs with a harrowing story their milk. The sanctuary is such a joyful place full of love and happiness where all the animals can live their best life.

An inspiring and entertaining place to visit whether you are grandparents, parents or children! Tina and James are very generous with their time in introducing visitors to their large variety of different animals and offspring. Not to be missed by anyone visiting the area or locals wanting time out to unwind. All in a beautiful setting in the Clun Valley.
